Escaping California

This blog will attempt to illustrate what it takes to escape the People's Republic of California.  Having successfully vacated the state where I was born and spent the majority of my life, I will try to explain to all who wish to listen what's involved in pulling up roots - especially deep ones - turning away from a state that has turned away from sanity in governance, and by extension its residents. Me, my wife, my only son and our pet posse all closed up shop and abandoned friends, neighbors and the California lifestyle for a new, freer, stranger and healthier home in another state.
